Letter Press Prints
My interest in printmaking, text, typography, photocopying, letter-press, bookmaking etc is mostly tied to my need for the page. I did not learn how to use a computer the way most people did until 2018. It’s the truth, I promise.
Most of these things developed because I did not own a computer for a very long time.
I love paper!

A series of letter-pressed 8.5” x 11” posters made with mixed custom wood type on a Vandercook No.4 . These and other variations were made for 8Ball Community Bookfair that took place at the Coney Island Eldorado arcade and bumper cars on October 29th 2023.

Protest posters ( second photo) were free and generously distributed.
Chaos Reference
Chaos reference: a graphic meditation on chaotic maps, intellectual property, and things I feel bad saying out loud

This book is a edition of 15. Each copy is arranged differently and contains seven unique letter-pressed prints.
This book is an attempt to capture chaotic visual chatter I like referring to as “graphic meditation”. The images referenced come from my research into mapping chaotic behavior, image encryption, and playing with my conflicting sentiments around reappropriation and intellectual property.
23 pages total
11 x 17 ( when closed or as “A” frame )
